Contact
We read every email. The fastest way to reach us is to send a message describing what you need.
We typically respond within two business days. If you don't hear back, your message may have been caught by a spam filter — please send a follow-up.
What we respond to
- Bug reports. A tool returned the wrong output, errored on a file that should have worked, or rendered incorrectly in your browser. Please include the tool name, what you did, what you expected, what happened, and (if applicable) the browser and OS you're on. We can't see your files, so we may ask for a minimal reproduction.
- Feature requests. An idea for a new tool, an option that's missing from an existing tool, or a workflow we could support better. We prioritize based on how many people would benefit and whether the feature fits the privacy-first model (everything has to run in the browser).
- Tool corrections. Documentation that's wrong, a guide that gives outdated advice, or a FAQ answer that misses a common edge case. Concrete corrections with a link to the specific page are the fastest to action.
- Partnership and press. Coverage, integrations, embedding tools in your own product, or sponsoring development of a specific tool. Brief intro emails with the relevant context are appreciated.
- Privacy and data questions. Anything about how files are processed, what we store, GDPR or CCPA requests, or specific concerns about a tool's data handling. You can also reach our privacy contact directly at privacy@justfiletools.com.
What we can't help with
- Recovering or accessing your files. Every tool runs entirely in your browser. We don't have copies of files you processed — we never received them. If you closed the tab before saving the output, the file is gone from your browser's memory.
- Processing files on your behalf. We don't offer a "do it for me" service. The tools are self-serve so that your files never leave your device.
- Custom builds or one-off scripts. We focus on the public tool set. For custom development, you'll want a freelance developer or an agency.
- Account or billing questions. Just File Tools has no accounts, no logins, and no paid plans. If you received a charge labeled "Just File Tools," it didn't come from us — please dispute it with your bank.
Why no contact form?
A contact form would mean collecting your message on our servers before delivering it to us. We prefer a direct email link — your client sends the message straight to us, and we don't store the form data. It also means we have a clear audit trail in our inbox and can reply from the same thread.
